What happens during the program?

We recommend a course of 4 sessions, the first session takes about an hour and 15 minutes, this allows us to find out about you and make a plan that tailors the programme to your needs. We also help you set realistic goals to help you make necessary changes that can help you manage your new lifestyle changes.

On-going sessions are arranged based on individual needs.

Stage 1

Laser Therapy

Laser Therapy is a well-established therapeutic technique with a wide range of medical applications. The Anne Penman method utilises a cold, soft laser beam which is applied to specific energy points on the hands, ears, nose and, wrists and feet. This helps to stimulate the release of endorphins, our own natural body chemical, which helps with the relief of pain and stress.The laser acts as a calming agent helping to greatly reduce stress levels. As everyone reacts differently to stress, the programme is tailored to individual needs. This means that, regardless of your stress level, the programme can help you achieve your goal.

Counselling focuses on self-belief and positive thinking. During the treatment, we help you deal with the emotional, physical and psychological aspects of stress.

Ongoing Support

Our 24/7 telephone helpline is there to offer extra support and focuses on individual need. You are in control and your Anne Penman technician will provide support and encouragement on an ongoing basis.

How do I prepare for the programme?

Before coming to your first appointment:

 – Decide the date you are going to begin your stress management and call us to arrange your first appointment

 – Keep a note of the situations which cause you stress, and write down your reasons for wanting to reduce stress

 – Wear clothes you feel comfortable in
